To clarify, I'm not saying cars and cards are equivalent, I'm comparing the idea of paying for expensive items when inexpensive equivalents are available.

Now to your point, the amount that a seller is willing to sell an item is purely dependent upon the market that they are trying to sell to. If there are buyers out there and there are, then when a brand has the cachet to do so, they will offer a premium branded product for a higher price. You know that Tiffany's sells playing cards too?

Berating people for buying what in your eyes is a bad purchase isn't accomplishing anything, it's just making you look salty and or jealous. I know you're trying to get your own brand off the ground right now, you'd be careful not to associate a strong disdain for the people who want to spend a lot money on cards with your brand when you're literally trying to get people to spend money on your cards. I'm one of your backers, and I guarantee at least a few of your backers spent $75 on some cherry's because they have money and like to buy cards.
