If you and your wife have had problems with you looking at or watching stuff that makes her uncomfortable, don't even bring it up. But if that's never been an issue in your marriage you could always just ask her. Like, "Hey, there's a game that looks really cool that I'm going to play in handheld mode only, not in front of her daughter. It's a dungeon crawler and really deep, like 70 hours long. But looking at reviews there's a few of scenes that make some pretty immature and cringe worthy jokes. It seems like they're only a few minutes long out of the 70 hour experience and pretty easy to just skip over. It doesn't bother me much because I don't get hot and bothered over cartoon women as I am not a 13 year old boy, but I'm pretty interested in the rest of the game. I'm just wondering if that would make you feel uncomfortable?" Who knows she may surprise you and be like, "I don't give a crap, go ahead." Or she may get super mad and be like, "Why are you even asking me?!?" And you guys could have a really productive conversation about some topics that many married people don't talk about and come out having a clearer understanding about what your wife does and doesn't feel comfortable about. I don't know. It's just a thought I had. I am after all just some random dude on the internet.
