$200 in lost taxes (you forgot the federal tax of 18.4 cents) is 352 gal. A 32mpg accord/camry/fusion/malibu driving over 11,200 miles/yr pays more than that. In fact, for the Ohio average of almost 15K it takes 42mpg to make the EV tax more expensive.

So it's cheaper, just not free anymore. Did the US Gov't give you $7500 to buy your EV? Because that's equivalent to gasoline tax on 40,700 gallons - 4.7 million miles by your math.
