It was not changed mid tournament. Stop perpetuating that false statement, please. Once again, we're sorry you feel this way. But, the :45 cutoff has been known for quite some time. You are the first to use it as a reason for being late that I am aware of. We are not going to inconvenience the casters, bracket people, and viewers just to let people have 33% more time to sign up. You already have 45 minutes, that is far more than is needed.

Yes, because you refuse to look at the issue from anyone's point of view besides your own. We understand where you are coming from, but it makes things far smoother for the majority of people involved to have a cutoff at :45. If you think about it, a tournament starting at a specific time would mean checkins close before that. There is simply far too much to do to allow checkins that late, primarily getting the brackets ready for the players and getting streamed games ready.

The correct time is shown in the place we control. Checking multiple sources is something everybody should do, because mistakes happen. Again, we're sorry this negatively affected you, but we have no intentions of changing our format at this time.
