PSA: Verizon reps, check your entitlement at the door.

I do mind helping people if it has nothing to do with verizon. IF your phone is dropping signal etc.. ill take a look and try my best to fix it.. if you don't remember your gmail account and password How is that Verizon's problem. When we sold you the phone if the rep did their job the phone was working.. What a customer does after it leaves the store shouldn't be a verizon problem. Verizon should just go the same route as best buy. If you want tech support for the computer you carry around in your pocket that'll be $XX amt for troubleshooting (which would count as accessories). If you buy A computer (which is what your phone is) from best buy and want all your useless cat pictures and whatnot moved from your old one to the new one You pay geek squad a fee. If you don't want to pay the fee then they are plenty of diy options. Then i would have no problem taking all the time you need to work on this other stuff that has nothing to do with verizon. For some reason people think that since it's a phone they are entitled to free tech support for life. Now it might have made sense back in the basic phone days for setup and troubleshooting to be part of the job since those phones didn't do much. But now that phones can do pretty much everything your computer at home can do and more. Customers should be paying Reps for those things or do it themselves. Since most people are too lazy to google the problem they just expect to take it into a store shove the phone in a reps face and yell at them to make it go! The entitlement goes both ways. </end rant>
