PSA your cyberpunk saves will become corrupted and unrecoverable if they reach 8mb in size

Exactly! English is my second language and I'm not the most eloquent person to begin with so it's hard to get a point across. "Blame" is probably a bit too strong a word, but I was just saying that people who blindly bought the game based on 'promises' do share some responsibility for their disappointment. They could've done more to protect themselves but they didn't. There have been a lot of precedents of games not living up to the hype, or marred with technical issues yet every time a current gaming darling come around dangling delicious carrot people would flock and throw money at them.

Honestly at this point I just feel jaded looking at gamer rage Version N. It's just the same exact thing every single time and it's all getting pretty boring already. In two weeks this whole issue will blow over as they got bored of farming karma and in one year nobody would even care to remember CP77 had a bad launch, much less how CDPR forced the devs into crunch and how a bunch of "fans" freaking assaulted somebody for bringing up an epilepsy issue. The same rabid people leading the crusade against Current Bad Company™ by badmouthing it in every post and thread because a bad game is worth burning the world over will sing praises and suck the company's cock again when the game takes a positive turn with all its fixes and nice expansions and some goodwill cookies from their gaming overlord, just like they did only a few weeks ago as they hyped themselves for a game they haven't even seen yet.

As Jim Sterling put it, the gaming community is beyond salvation.

I just wanna plug Charlie's review of the game here because of how succinctly put his intro is.
