‘A pseudo-science’: Outrage after Ontario government funds college program in homeopathy

What do people have against homeopathy? Just because tonnes of anecdotal evidence says it works but there is no way to prove that it works means people shouldn't try it?

Medicine in this country is still centuries away from figuring out exactly what causes certain illnesses and how to even diagnose it.

In the interim why not let homeopathy offer solutions to people's un-diagnosable illnesses and ailments based on anecdotal evidence of what worked on other patients with similar problems. Too many times in this country, people that purport to be medical experts and specialists can't figure out what's wrong with the patient. Homeopathy can help during that. If it weren't for a homeopathic remedy suggesting I put a clove in my mouth, I wouldn't have recognized that my pain was localized to only the teeth that had had a root canal and realized that all my pain was just due to a localized nerve damage from a re-infection.
