I’ve had these exact same thoughts on a mushroom trip ironically enough, before then I used to think they were the answers to everything. As the trip progressed I kept asking myself “what’s really going on here” and I couldn’t get the feeling out of my head that I was being used.

Fast forward after that trip I basically started to question everything I had learned about psychedelics, I began to look at them like “spiritual traps” or tools for stagnation. People love to pretend that even 60% of all psychedelic use is for therapeutic or spiritual purposes when that isn’t the case. Speaking from experience people trip because they want to be high, there are exceptions and not every one person is the same but through passive observement & firsthand experience I feel like I can say this.

Nothing else has has proved this more to me than watching full grown adults condone some of the stupidest shit I’ve ever seen, literally legal adults telling 15 year old kids it’s okay to take acid if their parents say no “It’s okay to take acid in your stupid boomer parents home! “ this is almost everyday I see something like that going on. And it’s like this should be common sense? The fuck is wrong with people? It’s a way for them to accelerate the moral decay of society on a broader scale. I never made the connection that the scientists or professors pushing these ideas/sentiments could be deepstate but it’s not impossible, I’m open minded.

One simple fact is though that NO ONE here will even start to try and understand what you’re trying to say, if people use psychedelics it’s because they’ve been indoctrinated one way or another & are looking for an escape. The people still using them like medication are the ones who got stuck, the people who rose above and realized that the drugs can only do so much & that the rest is up to you gave them up the second they got the message.
