Psychedelic users of Reddit: what is your craziest "trip" story?

Not so much CRAZY but more so an experience. Went to a full moon party in Thailand with my girlfriend, wanted to party for a night on a mostly lovely and relaxing beachy holiday. We ventured into the depths of the mental party beach and discovered a mountain trail that led up the side of a cliff to what a signpost labeled as "This way to Happy Shakes". The mountain side bar was also aptly named "Magic Mountain". Very intrigued, we venture up the mountain to find a little bar selling magic mushroom shakes - basically just mushies, ice and a blended milk concoction. Girlfriend had never done mushrooms before, I had dabbled a few times. Decided that they surely couldn't be strong if the were selling them to the public and bought two cups. Girlfriend could not finish her entire cup (did not taste too nice) so I gulped down mine and about half of hers. We continued our night, partying and drinking beers with lots of fun people. Ventured down the mountain and the trip well and truly began. There was a slight moment of fear with both of us, i think the intense atmosphere was overwhelming. Here are a few highlights of the "trip" though:

  • I thought I had discovered a feta cheese garden

  • Bought an unessacary amount of food, mostly cheesy bacon bread only to eat a quarter of it and give it to some half naked Brazilians.

  • Made friends with some American couples, had a spa at their hotel which was above one of the music stages, drank out of tiny little buckets.

  • We both entered a psy-trance stage and were immediately freaked out - lots of fluro colours and people everywhere

  • Found a reggae drum and bass bar where a man sold me beers for 90 cents and opened them with a sprite bottle. I also thought he looked like Pharrell Williams.

  • Sat and watched the mountain breath in and out for about an hour. The sky was changing colour to the music too which was quite beautiful.

  • Watched people walking and jumping over a small creek on the beach and everyone looked like they were in a 2D Super Mario game

  • Sat in the sand and could literally feel every grain of sand, was soft and delicate and felt very nice.

  • Found and "ambient" bar on the top of a mountain that was bathed in blue light and rugs where you could lie down and star at the sky.

All up it was a mostly lovely experience. Seemed to last for days. We stumbled back to our hotel at about 9am the next morning and just sat on the beach for the rest of the holiday with the beers and sunshine!
