Granted, you should understand that your perception of bots will be affected by how you play the game. Like if you're trying to do everything, of course the bots won't be as good at filling positions and you mostly only see them trying to adjust to your hectic play style, but when you actually let them take charge of something, they do quite a bit better than people typically give them credit for when you're playing a team also made of bots.

It may seem a bit ironic, but being a defensive player, I'd also sit in the net when playing with bots mostly because I liked to just watch how they do what they happen to do best, but it actually helped my offensive play. I was giving my chosen bots trust to play their positions, and I'd plan an attack when it deemed necessary and not feel bad if I steal any goals because they're bots. I think I'm a bit better at reading the field and planning now if I maintain that mindset. In that way, playing with bots has made me appreciate the game that much more.
