****Public discussion Thread 2*******

I've had several theories over the past couple of days, most of which have already been discussed here. I have another which is quite sensitive, so if I share it, please don't flame me!

There have been lots of discussions about how N has tried to paint a picture of Corrie that wasn't 100% representative of who he was. A view supported by MM in the Daily Mail. Someone (I forget who) suggested that perhaps N, in addition to making C gain more sympathy by sanitising his life, was trying to conceal something that Corrie had done.

So far, I have wondered whether this concealment was solely about his behaviour, April's pregnancy and character, or whether it extended to hiding a situation or event which resulted in him going AWOL?

But what event? We have discussed that there was a possibility that Corrie arranged to meet someone, maybe a girl he had been seeing, to tell them about A's pregnancy, in the HS. That girl (who could have been 4M/legs), could have turned up with a friend or family member, who got into a fight with C, accidentally killed him, and put C's body in the bin.

But what if (and please don't rip me to pieces for wondering this), what if Corrie did plan to meet a girl, hence the presence of legs, but knew she was bringing another man with her, and it was actually C that attacked him? He may not have killed the man, so the bin weight would be irrelevant. I think I read that a lady said she heard three teenagers, two boys and a girl arguing. What if she had got their ages wrong, and it was Corrie and the two others she heard?

Could Corrie have decided to beat up this other person then go AWOL, having arranged a lift from someone in USAF to take him to the docks? But what would his motivation be?

Well, April said that she and Corrie had discussed having children. What if C knew about the baby, but then found out it might not be his, hence the comments in the press about them being non-exclusive? Could this have tipped him over the edge and made him want to leave? April said in the media that Corrie didn't know about the baby before he vanished. Perhaps that could have been a reference to being unsure about paternity, which could be why April then did confirm that C was the dad?

As Corrie walks into the HS, he has his hands in his pockets, a forces trick for keeping them warm in case of a fight. Could he have known he was going to hit someone?

I am probably talking rubbish, but I did wonder what people's thoughts were.
