Is public outrage similar to a temper tantrum?

That's all I've said. I never said 'core' I never said 'normal'. Read.

It's in the game, it isn't a PART of the game. That would imply it has any relevance to the game, whether it be story or otherwise. THAT is the distinction.

She didn't like something, brought it to the devs attention and gave her reasons. Feedback.

She got offended by something and called it transphobic. Good for her, that isn't an argument. It's feedback as much as crying when someone won't buy you something is feedback.

My mistake, they're not allowed to disagree with what the devs did in a way that the devs might hear what people who played their game think.

They're still allowed to disagree, again, I like how you're trying desperately to twist this to your own little narrative. They AREN'T allowed to force a game into being changed because of their opinions. That is the line where their liberty infringes upon anothers, and should not be crossed.

You don't know what artistic freedom is.

Prove it. Me not agreeing with you = I must be an utter moron that doesn't know what he's talking about. You're right. I literally sit in front of a dictionary and just throw random words and phrases I see, desperately hoping they stick. It's a strange coincidence that I make any sense at all, almost as strange as the whole Obsidian PR thing.

Yep, having more to sift through makes it unlikely for something to slip through. It's also interesting how often I see accusations of lying when devs give their reasons for doing something others didn't like.

So there's lots of stuff to sift through and only one offensive post amongst it all? That they just so happened to find at the exact moment someone got hyper-offended over it? That is an awful lot of convenience. But who am I to question it? Listen and believe!

Because the devs gave him that decision. Because they hold the ultimate decision. You have a brain (I assume), start using it.

I'd love to, present an actual valid argument for my brain to engage with. They had the choice to refund him or confer with him. They chose to confer with him, and gave HIM the choice. He chose to change it.

Complaining it placing restraints, you don't understand what artistic freedom is, the devs still had full freedom to respond how they wanted. In order ot preserve artistic freedom as you misunderstand it, no one would be allowed to disagree.

You're willfully ignoring what I'm putting. Disagreement is fine. Snarling at something you don't like? Fine. Forcibly changing it? Not fine.
