Public Support for Same Sex Marriage

I honestly don't think the DUP gives a shit about Scots though. They only seem to bring it up when Irish is discussed as a way of stopping legislation supporting Irish. Don't get me wrong. I think it should be supported, whether people think it's a real language or not. It should probably be taught in schools as a module of the English curriculum, north and south. I say that as someone from the south. You don't see anyone out on the streets protesting for Ulster Scots language rights in the same way as you do with Irish. Scots is basically a breakaway from English and is very similar to it, unlike Irish. Anyone who speaks English can learn Scots in a few weeks/months, unlike Irish, which is why Irish needs stronger support. The more languages you add to the mix, the harder it gets to actually put the support in the places they're needed. There should be two separate acts supporting each of them.
