Publishers of Black Desert Online are censoring and mass banning on the forums to people speaking against their new P2W change

I'm not going to pretend that I know how EVE works, but the general consensus on BDO is that any monetary advantage is frowned upon. Much of the player base bought into the game under the promise that RMT would never offer anything other than cosmetics. BDO itself is not a new game as it has been out in other regions since before the NA/EU release but the other versions are plagued with these P2W features. To those who had been playing the Korean version, this release was supposed to be the saving grace of the game. Daum's PR knew this and assured many times (or at least implied heavily) that they were against P2W and monetary advantages. This is why there was a huge uproar when Daum announced that costumes would offer "negligible" advantages such as 10% increased vision, 10% less weapon durability degrade, 10% more exp, etc.

In short, BDO players hate that these changes simply allow anyone with a credit card to walk in and skip months of work and preparation. They hate that this game was sold to them as a buy to play model only for the publishers to turn around and essentially flip the game into a subscription based model for anyone who wants to stay relevant competitively. They hate that Daum flat out lied to them.
