Puerto Rico considers fining parents of obese children up to $800

Please don't justify bullying. If you really cared about overweight people, you would encourage with constructive advice on building a healthy lifestyle, rather than being abusive and condescending.

You're saying it as if he was justifying physically bullying someone for something they can't control, like race, height, looks, etc...

If it's just talking and you're being made fun of by something that's in your control like weight or you getting your shirt stained everyday at lunch, or talking with a lisp, or dragging your feet, or having poor personal hygiene (bad breath, body odor, etc...) then that mocking or 'bullying' as you incorrectly call it is pushing that person to make a positive change in their lives, children don't have fully developed minds and an 8th grade boy isn't going to pull you aside and "encourage with constructive advice on building a healthy lifestyle". That's just absurd and you know it.

For me, the only thing that worked was being made fun of in middle school, like ridiculed, and not being able to go to the beach. It was harsh but peer pressuring someone to lose weight is a good thing if it's good for their body.

More important is the mental aspect though, after it happened for a few months after entering 8th grade at a public school (was private preschool to 7th grade) it got my head straight, I ran every night after school and my swimming lessons and got my grades up from failing to being qualified to take honors when I entered high school.

I find myself baffled at how you think a hate group is okay

/r/fatpeoplehate is a hate group like hall monitors in grade school are police officers.

If /r/fatpeoplehate is a hate group then I can take half a can of bud light, pour it into an entire gallon of water and call it a 'full-bodied beer' (no pun intended).

The fact that you call that sub a hate group is laughable, i'm subbed there and it's milder than throwing half a jalapeño in a big pot of beans and meat and calling it chili.

Trust me bro, you don't know what goes on inside real 'hate groups' and loling at pics of fat people on the internet is not hate. Closing down your dad's country club and meeting there with 230 other white supremacists who flew in from across the country planning how to undermine efforts of African Americans and Jews and target their internal infrastructure is a hate group...no references to anyone in particular.
