Hell I'm British a former gun owner and think the lack of gun control in the US is stupid (and that we Brits have it pretty much perfect in our licensing requirements)...

But it is moronic to judge a show negatively because it doesn't fit with your political beliefs on a subject.
Hell if anything I enjoyed it more because I personally disagree with pretty much everything the main characters do and believe.
Including Frank and his psychotic personal revenge trip. Well except for Micro and Madani at the start, I've no issue with conscientious whistleblowers.

But it's fiction - watching things that you disagree with IRL and challenge you should be respected when they're done well. For example I think vigilante justice is abhorrent - and probably more damaging to society than actual crime because at least people see criminals as clearly in the wrong - but I still enjoy revenge thriller movies.
