Puppy poops inside even after being taken out to potty

This isn't just potty training. You're teaching your dog to communicate. The key word's here being "outside" & "NO". Obviously, your key words don't have to be these, but that's what you're training...

You have to actively monitor your dog. It's not about timing and letting it out on a schedule, though that is also important, to let your dog "outside" on a schedule, so that your dog knows what the door does. Don't forget to say it though "outside?". Regardless, you have to establish communication. Filling a coffee can with nuts and bolts is a good noise maker. WATCH your dog throughout the day and if it starts to sniff around like it's looking for a place to go, you shake that can like it's going out of style, try to MAKE EYE CONTACT with your dog to make sure it knows your making the noise for a reason, say "NO!" and take it outside. Don't call it a "bad dog" that just add more words to the mix, you need to be direct. It sounds cruel but forcing the dogs face near the poop saying "NO!" and going "OUTSIDE" IMMEDIATELY does work. Communication is the key! It's not a timepiece, it's a living being. MY dog tells me when it needs to go out. Not the other way around. As far as fleas are concerned, you need to bite the bullet and buy a six pack of advantix+
