I was in PURPLE SCRUBS!

No where did it say they left in a huff.

I'll just say that people often ask me for help in stores, I don't have on anything resembling the uniform, and I don't nor have I ever worked in a store here. I'm not sure why this happens. I have lived in the area for a very long time and I know these few stores very well, so maybe bc I walk very determinedly (is this a word?) to whatever I'm going to get, I look like I know something about the store? I really don't know. I try to be polite, but it gets old.

On my lunch break I sometimes go to a store or two to run errands. I live a fair distance from a decent sized town so I prefer not to drive 30 minutes to do so on my days off.

This day I was in Walmart, looking at which bandaids to buy, and someone walked up to me and asked for help. I simply turned to them, looked down at my dark purple scrubs with our clinic's logo on them, and then just looked blankly back at them until they got it. It took them a minute.

Purple scrubs top and bottom. In no way blue shirt with khaki pants or a vest or name tag or anything.

Ugh what gives? I wish it would stop because I'm afraid I'm about to start screaming at people.
