IMHO there's a fork in the path to freedom occurring in the anger phase.

Deluded beta/Clueless dude find RP wisdom, online or vis-a-vis or with an unexpected event or both the two last ones (Chad) and starts seeing reality for what it is. At this point he wants women and their respect (desire), but he also want to affirm a positive persona in his blue belief system (posture). Now he has a problem, his posture says that women are little angels to care for or along the lines. He finds out this is not true and gets angry. He feels he lost part of his positive personality and the rest is in danger. He also starts to sniff the tough diagonal road ahead if he was to follow his desire for women and their respect.

At this point he can only choose if: lose his posture (previous positive persona) totally and open up to the world to chase his desires, or he can give up on his desire and keep his posture (short-term comfort).

I personally believe the redpill frame can be MGTOW if the guy first gave up his comfort, played with his desires and the world and appeased himself. For such a man girls wouldn't be evil, but simply a not constantly needed perk in his life. If we are to extremize things then yes MGTOW is not RP at all. Go to many mgtow mainstream forums and it's like reading from twoX only with "woman" instead of "man". If a MGTOW avoid to crystallize in his posture or use the current one as a transition, it will just result as a phase of him.

Atm i'm quite the MGTOW (yeah, you were nailing it!) but it's basically a monk mode thing while i fix some steps. I don't hate the game by now, i just won't play it before i set my equity in it right. Way better things to do than playing for money without the cards... like, get the cards.

After all, the main MGTOW common flow is their badly camouflaged care for women. Like, they are supposed to be totally about themselves, but you find them bitchin on forum about women all the time. But that's not all of them, only those self-declared and brave ones who have the MRA smell. I do believe there's a less vocal and more active side of the phenomena who is just a toned down RP with no desire for marriage and that prefer the term for its supposed "purpleness".
