They keep trying to add new BiS for things but people don't want the power creep, so they vote yes to the boss, but vote no to the rewards. So they have to over inflate the loot tables to compensate and make the bosses worth while doing.

What they could do is make new items that have comparable stats to current BiS added to new bosses. This way we get new items, new bosses, and limit the power creep.

Like they did with Staff of the Light, it's same thing as SotD but Saradomin version instead of Zamorak. They could do more things like this.

Like what if they added God Sets that were similar to Barrows brothers. Instead of going to the graveyard and digging into the tombs you could go to cathedrals and fight the bosses in a similar manner. You could show off your cash stack by using the more expensive harder to obtain Zamorak-Dharok set instead of regular Dharok.

This way we keep power-creep down and new uniques are added to bosses instead of resources being flooded into the game.

The only downside is that the fashionscape meta will be rocked and the barrier for entry will be higher.
