Enlighten me with the difference? You think UF was like “ehh this guy is kinda controversial since he doesn’t think black people are equal but he’s not THAT bad... we ought to let him speak his mind.”

Cause as far as I know, there were absolutely no alternatives to letting the shithead speak. They had to give him the stage and pay for security to make sure he didn’t get shanked.

I get that letting a white supremacist speak at your college isn’t quite the same as letting some sketchy MLMs try to reel in your freshmen but both are public events at public universities. MLMs aren’t technically illegal, they toe the line between shitty marketing for stupid people and an illegal pyramid scheme.

Don’t be fooled, I think it’s fucked up too, but I see having MLMs at a job fair as 100% reasonable considering how Richard Spencer at UF went down. It sucks but it happens.
