Please read...I could be way off but here goes....I am posting this at the top of the thread so it gets seen. I saw a picture a while back of a kid in a supermarket with huge black circles under their eyes (I believe it was on the comet pingpong pizza instagram account). Anyways, this is known as the panda stage. You keep a kid up for days because the more sleep deprived a kid is, the more submissive they become. Then, once totally under their captors control, they become known as 'Dorothy's'.

This is what the shoes mean...white shoes = not yet under control....no shoes= going through the sleep deprivation / mind control stage...red shoes= totally under control. That is why when they have no shoes on, their feet and butts look red. They have been on their feet for days and gone through horrible abuse as well. The ropes are not used for human sacrifice (bleeding them out), they are used to keep them upright so it's harder to fall asleep.
