[Q] Has anyone received their DogeCoin 1:24 diecast from Diecast Hunters (Darnik44)?

Here's Darren's reply:

""This is all I have.

(Sept 7)

"Hey bud,

I emailed you a few months ago and was wanting to go ahead and pay off the balance for the Josh Wise Dogecar. You sent me a "Final Balance" email that would allow me to do that. I finally got around to doing that and it is saying that my username/email does not exist in your database. Any help on this as I would like to go ahead and pay this off while I have the money."

(Sept 7)

"Let me look into this. Did you register an account? If not, please take a minute and do that."

(Sept 17)

"Sorry it took so long to get back, it's been an extremely busy time for me.

But yes I do have an account. When I click on the invoice link you sent me, it says:

"Sorry, but you do not have permission to use this feature. If you are not logged in, you may do so using the form below if available"

Hope this helps! Adam"

(Oct 7)

"Hi,

Please go ahead and cancel my preorder for the Josh Wise Dogecar. I have decided to go a different route to obtain this car. Thank you and have a nice day.

Adam (Redacted)"

In between I contacted him through the site with a couple options on how to pay. I never heard back until he canceled. ""

FYI it is common practice to not refund a down payment on an item you commit to purchase, because then you leave the seller high and dry with an item they may or may not be able to sell. Darren's issue was that the store was not prepared for the amount of orders, and orders at the same time, that Dogecar and Reddit brought in, so when the time came to accept final balances, there was money coming in that wasn't in the system.

With the discount that Darren generously offered for all who became free members of DiecastHunters, he was paying almost as much to purchase the diecasts from his distributor and ship them out as he was taking in from the sales.

Brent and Plan B have the good fortune to be able to sell diecasts as a living, and have a team of dedicated employees behind him to offer the exceptional customer service they provide. Darren is a 1 man operation, with an additional day job 5-7 days a week. Hundreds of orders have been placed with Darren and fulfilled properly before Dogecar, and hundreds more have been and will be fulfilled after.
