I have just purchased the Samsung CRG9 (5120x1440 120hz) and I'm experiencing the following issue.

When the monitor wakes from sleep or I turn it off and then back on while the PC is on I just get a black screen with the Display Port 1 input in the top left, and the only way to get it to display is to unplug the DP cable and plug it back in.

Once it's back working I get an error from the AMD software which says:

"The System has detected a link failure and cannot set the requested resolution and refresh rate. Your display might not support the requested resolution or there may be an issue with the cable connecting the display to your computer."

I have tried two different cables, the one I was using on my previous monitor and the one that came with the CRG9.

GPU: Vega 56

Driver: 21.5.2

If any has or knows of a fix that would be great.
