tired of this argument in favor of mini-LED. brightness isn’t linear and doesn’t make as much of a difference as people think it does. my 16” macbook pro has arguably the best mini-LED panel in the world and i still choose my OLED tablet over it for content consumption because mini-LED still has an insane amount of ghosting and haloing. having pixel perfect true blacks and perfect contrast for natural skin tones and lighting > a slightly brighter screen. my friend used to work at a best buy and literally every single person would ask about the OLED TVs despite them being displayed in a brightly lit showroom next to miniLEDs that were obviously brighter.
