QDK's statement on the controversy.

Although I did initially agree that it is just a token gesture, I can see that the message of unity is really more important than the other side of the coin in that it is just being a meaningless gesture. It really stands out when someone doesn't participate, and it does make you question a person's ethics, whether they deserve it or not.

I think QdK is right that CSA shouldn't have changed the rules so last minute and that clearly upset him. I don't think it gave enough time to really think his decision though it to discuss it with anybody. It's a delicate situation, and I hope it is resolved as not doing so could cause more issues than if QdK is left out for good.
