Québec’s language laws prevent citizens from acquiring items of their own free will.

If you want a product, but the company doesn’t offer it in french, Quebec prevent you from buying it anyway.

You don’t have have that choice.

Sure, you can blame the company if you want. It’s not hard to install language settings on a PC. But shouldn’t that be something you can do yourself if you desire to?

Would you rather have all these choices taken from you because companies just don’t want to bother? Getting outdated computers because all the newest ones are in English or Japanese.

Again, you as an individual do not get that choice. It has been made for you by the Quebec government to “protect” you, because you as an adult cannot be trusted to make that decision for yourself.
