We should not assume the people here on this video are less than satisfied This is not a job that (99% of) people can possibly be happy in, because it does not accommodate basic human requirements.

Do you agree that this factory is almost definitely in a developing Asian country (probably China)? Do you feel that factory workers in these places receive fair remuneration?

I don't disagree, and the social benefits of industrialisation are impressive and indisputable. What isn't easy to quantify are the social costs, and nor do they factor in whatsoever when the only value underpinning the mode of production is profit.

It's a fair question to ask whether it's justifiable that humans are exploited and alienated in their jobs for the sake of a minions toy that's maybe half as expensive to the consumer as it might otherwise be?

I don't have a cut-and-dry answer, but I'm sure as hell not filled with joy at viewing this footage.
