Quebec to impose 'significant' financial penalty against people who refuse to get vaccinated

There is no where for weight to come from other then consumption. So if you are 40 pounds overweight but don't gain or lose anything it is because you are likely eating the right number of calories for your activity level. So 2000 in and 2000 out To lose weight you would need to eat less calories then your body needs as fuel so you start to use the stored energy sources. And your body doesn't want to do that because it never had so it is a fight to get started. And people who have always been heavy start to believe that they can never lose weight. It happens in youth and it happens for many as they age. The dad/mom bod is a good example. People say thing like "well that's what happens as you age". It is actually what you allow to happen because you don't recognise that your metabolism slowed or activity levels are less so you need to adjust how much you consume.

I am going top add here that that what you believe was what I thought until I made changes in my early 40s. I have realized much of how we deal with this is backwards. All the things I believed turned out to not be true. For example many people believe that much of what happens in middle age is just getting older. In my experience that is false and can be fixed by making changes to your lifestyle. Again it isn't easy but in the end we need to learn that each of us has the power to do this.
