Different kinds of games are fun for different kinds of people. It doesn't mean one inherently respects you more.

Yeah, there's a lot of Morrowind/BOTW/Elden Ring fans who like it when getting from A to B is a little puzzle, fundamentally don't understand why someone wouldn't like that and would just prefer to walk from A to B guided by a marker, then start sniffing their own farts about how superior they are to "casual" "babymode" gamers who prefer Horizon or Skyrim.

Like, the idea that Skyrim fans might prefer Skyrim because of all the "casual" "handholding" things they hate about it completely flies over the heads of these people. Apparently liking "casual" "handholding" game design makes you a fake gamer. Who knew?
