Question about Daniel Jones pick

Daniel Jones is probably going to end up being the QB3 or QB4 of this draft when it's all said and done if you ask me. He worked with a QB guru during college and was still not very impressive. He gets locked into a first or second progression too often and his throwing mechanics are sort of weird (he guns it but throws it too low a lot of the time). His decision making outside of the pocket isn't great either.

His short and intermediate accuracy is quite good but some mechanics still need to be improved. The thing that worries me is that he worked with a great QB coach and what was seen at Duke may be the ceiling. NFL level coaches are different but when we're talking about a great QB coach at Duke, I'm not sure how much else can be improved.

They had great value available in Josh Allen and if they really believed Daniel Jones was their guy, they could have gotten him at 17 most likely or traded ahead of the Redskins if need be.
