The Utopia on Earth was before the Japanese Occupation . It was during the Shilla Period where the Yangban society existed that Korea was considered a place where Men and women were treated as equals. As more invaders try to take over Korea, the invaders always try to give more power to one gender compared to another in order to divide. Current US race relations is a perfect example of this but in Korea, power went towards the men more than women.

There are theories that the Han that exist in Korean Culture today is due to the divide of Power between men and women during the Shilla period whenNot sure who is downvoting. I'm going to up vote your opinion. I feel this is something that people don't talk about and never discuss when it comes to the nation of Korea. How it once was Utopia where women were able to get an education, just like any man.
