Later this year will be the 3rd Steelers game I've gone to in Cinci with my mom. Both of the previous times it's sadly not been a great experience dealing with the Bengal fans. The main reason I give their franchise so much hate everywhere is because their fanbase is angry and disrespectful to everyone. When I go to sporting events of any kind I cheer for my team, tell the refs to screw off and if the team I like is at home I'll boo the opposing team when they run out but I ALWAYS show respect to fans of the other team. In Cincinnati I have been yelled at personally by opposing fans and in multiple ways have had my experience been made less enjoyable by their fanbase regardless of how the game turned out simply for cheering on my team at the game. I could just be drawing some really bad luck with this but I genuinely dislike going there. I try to make it to one game a year typically and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little bummed it was against Cincinnati again this year. I hope you and I both have a much more enjoyable experience this year than what I have experienced previously.
