Question about Philly Comicon and Comicons in general

Panels have the potential to be the best part of the entire con. At smaller cons though, sometimes they can be a real snooze. They usually don't get announced until like within a month of the convention. Try your best to find the panel schedule from last year. The amount of panels this year that would be interesting to you are probably proportionate to the amount of interesting panels from last year.

Is this about Wizard World in June? Or the smaller one in April? From what I know Wizard World is a quality con, but I've never heard of the other one. Based on where you live, New York Comic Con is a really good con, one of the best in the country. I live in San Diego so I hit up a lot of west coast cons, don't know that many east coast cons. Do some research on attendence, the panels typically get better the larger the con is. Having said all this, even if its a smaller con, I would recommend checking it out for at least 1 day. Sometimes you might run out of things to do if you stay all weekend is all.

Only the premier cons usually sell out very far in advance. Even cons as big as Anime Expo (which is huge) have tickets available for a while. Only the VIP packages sell out I guess.
