Question About Ukraine

What do I think? It’s just politics and Putin is still mad, because Ukraine became pro-West, so he is just trying to slowly weaken Ukraine. Call it “a revenge”

One thing you need to understand is that Ukraine was always Russia’s favorite toy. Under any Russian/Soviet empire, Ukraine was a part of a “Big Russia”, where Russians, Ukrainians and Belorussians were the first-class citizens. Of course, Russians played the most important role, but Ukrainians and Belorussians were represented in every level of government and business.

So when Putin started all this Eurasian (Tamozhenny Soyuz) movement similar to EU, Ukraine supposed to be part of it, but then the Ukrainian revolution happened and all the resources that were invested into Yanukovich’s regime were gone. Just like that. So Putin is just mad and he will support any pro-Russian movement in Ukraine. There are more coming, because Ukrainian economy is a joke and people of Eastern Ukraine would wanna join Russia eventually.
