[QUESTION] Are Aria guitars good quality and sound for the money?

$200 guitars are all roughly equivalent. They make essential compromises on pickups and hardware to meet that price point. But modern Chinese mass production generally makes for a playable decent starter instrument. Haven't played a modern Aria but I would assume it's close to a Harley Benton or Squier Affinity and probably produced on the same assembly lines. TBH I had no idea they were putting the Aria brand on modern guitars. I associate it so much with the 70s.

What's your first Tele? Why do you want a second? It may make sense to save your money and get the next level of quality up (like Squier classic vibe or Epiphone) if you already have a working Tele.

I will say a Deluxe Nashville pickup layout like that is always my preference on a Tele, it adds a ton of versatility to the standard layout.

With modern guitars you get pretty much what you pay for. Which these days on the low end is something playable but rarely something surprisingly good.
