Question for everyone

So in a society how will you define the laws if everyone have thier own moral code.

I don't want everyone to have their "own moral code," but I would have no issue sharing mine.

I would presume you and I already share my "moral code." Do you prefer the company of decent people? Would you like to remain relatively healthy? Would you like to stay out of prison? If you answered yes, and live by it, you should have few "moral quandaries." That's been my experience, anyways.

Take for instance incest at this point in time it's illegal/crime

There are 3 states that incest isn't illegal. Apparently, people who live in Ohio, New Jersey and Rhode Island are not subject to your moral code.

But what stops people following atheism

Not being convinced of a supernatural element to the Universe does not require me to "follow" anything.

We have seen societies moral code deteriorate as civilisations progress

There wasfar more than just the deterioration of subjective, era-specific "moral codes" that were responsible for the fall of civilizations before us. And in each instance, the people trusted - in vain - for their god(s) to save them.
