Question for labs doing COVID-19 testing

BSL 2 hood, with lab coats that are reworn for an entire week, one set of gloves that are changed whenever the tech feels like changing them, and either a surgical mask or a fabric homemade mask that is worn all day. Sometimes, someone might wipe the hood down with the purple top sani cloth wipes, but that’s about it. And that’s just the actual covid-19 tests. I should also add that all samples are being sent through the tube and multiple are being received open and leaking a day. And respiratory samples from the same patients are being processed just under a BSL 1 hood, if that. I’ve walked by and found respiratory samples sitting completely open out on the counter with tens of people walking by.
