Question for people who work on or think about AGI regularly [Discussion]

Currently I am an undergraduate student but I have worked on several DL projects (including CV, NLP). I always want to create something like AGI or ASI, but I think we are not even close to them. But I think NLP is the way to it instead of CV because language is what makes us so special.

But we can create something to make it look like intelligence. The pretty basic thing is chatbot (not for a specific domain but face to open domain), such as a seq2seq chatbot that can generate token sequences. And many people add more things (such as memory network, knowledge base, reasoning on knowledge graph, etc.) to it to make it smarter.

What do you think if we can build a system, that can crawl information from the Internet (news, tables, social networks, etc.), and use graph to store all of them (extract entities, attributes, relationships, resolve co-ref, etc.), train a model to query the graph network, reasoning and generate natural language response. Ever since it is online, it can resolve all human knowledges and keep growing. Will it look like AGI?
