Question for SAH parents

A stay at home parents is doing a VERY important and demanding job. You should be basically being "paid" from your joint account with your husband for the work you do every day. Especially because it's basically a 24/7 job. So you will definitely not need to be asking for any money. If your husband is making you feel like you won't have access to money because you "won't have a job" then you need to have a very serious discussion with him about how wrong that is. If you need a base rate, im a nanny from 8-3 and I make 26.50/hr, so you can go ahead and charge that rate while you are taking care of your child all day, it's a real job, you are not going to just be relaxing all day long. I hope this is just you having the wrong idea about SAHPs, and not that your husband has made you feel like you won't have access to money
