Question for this sub: do you hate all dogs? If so, why?

No, absolutely not. I don’t hate any animal, I’d say it’s more the owners being irresponsible and rude / jerks. There’s also the whole aspect of western culture with dogs, emphasizing them over people, pushing them. It sounds crazy until you start to see it—then it’s everywhere.

I’ve known very good dogs. I’ve had a dog. I loved my dog very much. He was never walked without a leash, never allowed to run free in the street, taken care of, and had a yard with a fence / lots of exercise. He was also trained, not left in a pen all day, and not a breed known for attacks / aggression either.

I can’t sympathize with pitbulls or other aggressive breeds. I don’t like chihuahuas either. But honestly, I would never hurt an animal. I just think dog culture has made things really messed up and people are, majority-consciously, stupid with responsibilities.
