My SO and I have worked in IT in the area for a few years now. I would recommend doing some digging online yourself (/r/RVAJOBS, LinkedIn, GlassDoor, recruiters, that sort of thing). I've had positive experiences working with Capital TechSearch, Key Choice Group for contract to hire placement.

Not sure where you're at in your career and I'm personally not all about sharing more openly here.
