A question for Whole Foods employees: How do you feel the culture at Whole Foods has changed since the Bezos take over? If it hasn't changed, have new procedures been implemented?

I’ve worked for Whole Foods all over the country for almost 7 years. I am one of the team members who likes our new internal operating system that minimizes back stock and clutter, but most of my fellow long timers hate it. They’ve done their job the same for years and don’t want to change it. I’ve also noticed a lot of our team members that bitch about things are the same ones that refuse to recognize that we were posting negative growth for many consecutive months, and that shit had to change. If it wasn’t amazon buying us, it was going to be Safeway, target, or Walmart. our shareholders were not happy and they had too much power. Now they don’t mean shit because they’re such a small piece of amazon. That is satisfying at least. Honestly I haven’t noticed much changes because of amazon specifically. The thing I like most about working for Whole Foods is that it pretty much is what I make it. I’m not saving lives, I’m selling groceries, so no sweat. I’ve seen so many folks love and hate the exact same job.
