Question from a tourist.

I realize you are probably being sarcastic in which case I really don't appreciate your comment but I am going to answer your question anyway just in case since looking through your comments it looks like you are going to the US. If you were not being sarcastic I would find the questions reasonable. 1. I haven't been in the US in over a year but mass shootings seem to have the potential to happen anywhere and at anytime now. While we want to avoid censorship, it being all over the media doesn't help/really just incites/inspires more of it so I would expect even more but it's a big country and as with most things, it is not something you will likely encounter/see. 2. It's not really easy to tell if someone is a tourist in America. We are not as homogeneous as other nations and it is not even that uncommon for many Americans to not speak English. We are black, Asian, european, middle eastern Latino, etc. My personal ancestry is Native American and German. If someone asks where you are from a lot of times they will mean what state. Most taxi drivers don't rip off people there. There is also always uber. 3) Not likely but they may avoid you? I don't know. I really don't know who these supporters are. Clearly he is getting votes but I don't personally know anyone who actually likes him. 4) Jaywalking is illegal in many areas and many of my white friends have gotten heavily fined for it. If you are black police may be harder on you in some areas but that is it. They probably wouldn't even know what race you are. There have been many cases of police brutality lately against just about every group. You probably won't deal with the police at all unless you are driving, though.
