I hope your joking
Nope, not joking. I don't know which of the updates from the AppStore this morning caused it to get into this wedged state, but I had to hard reset it, and after that, it was boot-loop-city.
After AppStore updated all apps to current, it froze, so I rebooted it (yes, I knew I needed to re-jailbreak it with Pangu), so I tried that, but it couldn't verify the Trust, because there was no network.
Weird, I just had network before, when I updated via AppStore. I go to Settings, and notice Bluetooth is listed as "Unavailable" and greyed out in the left-hand list, which I've never seen before.
I tap on Wireless and the right-hand panel never showed up. For HOURS, it just sat there. I could double-home and move around, but I couldn't get it networked.
So I backed up my data using iMazing and iTunes, also made a separate copy of my Photos, just in case, and did a hard-reset, erase everything. At least I know I can still use Pangu to get root back.
But not this time. It got stuck in some sort of unretrievable boot loop, where the progress bar under the Apple logo would get about 50% of the way across, then it would go black, and start all over again.
So here I am, with an iPad "running" 9.3.2, jailbroken, that I can either:
Boot loop
Get into DFU mode
Get into iTunes Restore Mode
I just tried iFaith and TinyUmbrella, and iFaith fails, but tinyumbrella creates a 6k SHSH file, which nothing can recognize or use. Sigh.
So I think I'm screwed. I don't know of any other way to either:
Pull working SHSH blobs from the device in DFU mode
Reflash 9.3.2 from IPSW, using the Cydia 'file only' server hack
Flash 10.2 and downgrade
Flash 10.2.1 and wait for another jailbreak, if ever (all the jailbreakers have said they're done after 10.2, because they're now getting paid by Apple to either stop releases, or paid to hand over their exploits to Apple before making them public).
So what's next?
