Question on environmental damage control(carbon tax)

Ok, on Trump and the environment.
I think it is safe to say that Trump will get rid of any carbon tax.

First of because yes, [he is a climate change denier.](bigstory.ap.org/article/9f61f5a9f8b242bc8eb12a9b36449b54/trumps-denial-climate-science-odds-world-leaders)

Trump wants the US to pull out of the Paris Agreement, which is an international treaty to address climate change. He has also said that he wants to stop paying climate efforts.

Trump has stated that he wants to defund the environmental protection agency. That is not something someone who cares about the state of the environment would do. Reform it, yes. Get rid of it? I don't think so.
The person Trump has picked to lead the EPA is Myron Ebell, outspoken climate skeptic.

Trump is also considering an Oil Executive to be in charge of the Department of interior, which oversees National Parks and Animal Refuges. To make maters worse, the Oil executive he is considering is Lucas, president Lucas Oil who founded an anti-animal rights movement.

So, yes. Trump does not care about the environment and is most likely to remove carbon tax if he does anything with them at all.
