Question on fresh air exchange and colonization rates

This would be my advice, in my very limited experience. Keep the tub closed while you are trying to get the bulk of the substrate colonized. Once you are ready for pinning, give it a ton of FAE and a ton of humidity. That can be a little tricky to do because in order to build up humidity you want to keep the lid closed, but at the same time, those pins want a lot of FAE. I ended up getting a reptile fogger to provide a ton of humidity but I also kept my bin pretty wide open and the next day I saw a bunch more pins.... I introduced this fogger a few days after I had my first pins, so I really think the fogger and the FAE really had a noticable effect.
