I have a question regarding my upcoming interview?

1) for a position like this, probably very basic excel. keying in numbers. perhaps running an avg or sum formula. excel is actually a really fantastic program with a lot of complicated functions, but when most companies ask for excel experience at this level, it's basic enough that you can teach yourself via an online tutorial in an hour. and that's starting from no knowledge at all. "advanced excel" in most positions outside finance are actually basic with respect to what the program can actually do. i'd been working with excel for years without incident, considering myself 'advanced,' before i even learned the term "pivot table". once i did, i taught myself in about 30 minutes via a tutorial.

2) it couldn't hurt to research, but at this level, they are probably going to teach you what you need to know.
