Question regarding stance on cash shop

Thanks, I think understand the mindset a bit better now.

"Vanilla/Classic is now old and no longer matters" - Correct?

Leveling through the world and experiencing it is no longer on the table for people. It's all about getting to 70 as quick as possible and do parses. It's all about the min max and META to as large a degree as possible.

I think my approach to the game is just different then a lot of people on here and a lot of players. I play to have fun, not necessarily to be the best. The two often go hand in hand, but not always. Otherwise you wouldn't have support classes. I do understand a huge portion of the community do feel they go hand in hand, otherwise we wouldn't have ~30-40% Warr, Rogue, Mage on most servers as the most populous classes.
