Once grouped up with a random group from the LFG site for VoG. They wanted to do it on hard but had only ran normal. Okay, whatever, my BF and I are in a fireteam and have ran hard before. We'll tell them what to do and where to hold back or whatever.

Jesus it was like pulling teeth. They didn't want the Templar to teleport so they could get the extra chest (doesn't that only give ascendant materials anyway???) and spent literally almost two hours trying to kill him without him teleporting before we (me + BF) finally lost it and told them to give it up. None of them knew how to do the relic, only BF did, and they refused to be taught how even though BF offered to show them...? Claimed it was "too hard".

They refused to go through the Gorgon maze. They claimed "it was too hard to do with 6 people" like, what do you think other people do? Well, they told BF and me to solo the Gorgon maze and they'd leave and come back when we were done. Whatever. We do it on the first try because we're not nubcake scrubs (but hey it is significantly easier with two people).

We're at the jumping puzzle. They still havent come back. We get to the Gatekeeper (still talking to them in the party) and they all come back at once. Turns out they were just lazy, didn't want to do the jumping puzzle and had us do it so we could get the checkpoint. We get in the door, open a timegate. Me and BF have to go through the gates because none of them "know how" / "know what to do". We're in the Mars timegate, distracted, doing what we're supposed to do. We get out and - Every single one of them left. We can't finish it and get mad but move on with our lives - Until it turns out the guys we were playing with just wanted the checkpoint and are looking for different people to complete it with (they forgot to close their party) and are talking about how we were unhelpful and rude and "slowing them down".
